How To Use:
Step 1: Vacuum the area thoroughly prior to using your carpet cleaner. Then pretreat the area with a BISSELL Pretreat Spray for at least 15 mins prior to using the machine.
Step 2: Use the machine as instructed in the User Guide using warm water in the clean tank with approx. 60ml BISSELL Upright Carpet Cleaner Formula and 120ml BISSELL Oxy Boost.
Step 3: Leave the area to air dry naturally, then repeat this process as needed to achieve the desired result. Multiple rounds may be needed on areas/items that have not been deep cleaned regularly before.
IMPORTANT Only use warm water (or cooler) in this machine. Thoroughly clean machine after use. Only use water & compatible BISSELL Formula. Do not use any oils including Eucalyptus oil or other additives as these may damage the machine and void the guarantee.
**Express clean mode– tested on new carpet with protectant. Results may vary.
**Deep clean mode - Using BISSELL Formula. Based upon measurements of colour reflectance and brightness of carpet fibres.
***We recommend checking the care label and/or manufacturer's cleaning instructions for carpets, rugs, upholstery, and car interiors prior to using. Not recommended for use on pure wool, loop pile, viscose, jute, silk, leather, or natural suede.

I had previously been loaned a different model Bissell and was so impressed with the result I decided to buy my own.
I moved into an apartment that had been previously owned and even though I had been told that all carpets had been professionally cleaned I decided to do my own carpet clean. The water in the pick-up tank was absolutely black! It makes me cringe when I think of living on such a filthy carpet so am very glad I bought the Bissell. And so much for professional cleaning - a waste of money!

It's a great carpet cleaner with upholstery attachment hose and heads.
Very efficient and effective compared to brands that you hire.
Easy to assemble and use.
Difficult cleaning out head. Doesn't come with sections that detach like previous or other models.
Have to turn the entire machine upside down, water leaking on the floor and flush it out over the sink. Inconvenient in that regard but all in all I love Bissel Carpet Cleaners and highly recommend everyone has one.
Don't use on mattresses though. All machines unless designed for mattresses actually increase stains. So, you keep working it trying to get them out only for them to get worse and spread further.
Use as intended for carpets, couches, car interiors and it's awesome 👌🏻

My floors have shag-pile carpeting and the areas that I have used it on have all come up appreciably cleaner.
I am waiting for drier and warmer days to carry out a more extensive clean of the heavier soiled areas.
